About this policy
HumanAtlas is an anatomy learning app. This policy explains how the app and this website handle information.
Anatomy exploration stays on your device
The app does not require a developer account. Anatomy models are bundled with the app, and model viewing and searches are processed on your device. The current app does not send your anatomical searches or viewing activity to a developer-operated server, and does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
App Store purchases
Apple processes payments. The app uses StoreKit transaction information to verify access and restore purchases; the developer does not receive your payment card details. Apple's handling of App Store information is described in its own policy.
Website and language preference
This website stores your chosen language in your browser's local storage. It does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts. When you request a page, the hosting service may process ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, requested URL and browser information, to deliver the site and protect its operation.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request and handle related support. Please do not include medical records or other sensitive personal information. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to address the request and meet applicable obligations.
Sharing and your choices
We do not sell personal information or use support correspondence for targeted advertising. Information may be handled by service providers needed to deliver the website or email support, or disclosed where legally required. You can clear the site's language preference in your browser and contact us to request access, correction or deletion of support information, subject to applicable requirements. Apple manages its own transaction records.
Children and policy changes
We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can address it. We will update this page if information handling changes and revise the date above.
