Using HumanAtlas
These terms apply to HumanAtlas and this website. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use. Your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law are not limited by these terms.
Learning and reference
HumanAtlas helps you explore anatomical structures for education and general reference. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations or patient-specific advice. Models represent reference anatomy, not every individual's structures or variations. Do not use the app to make clinical decisions or replace qualified medical advice.
License and acceptable use
You may use the app in accordance with these terms and the applicable App Store license. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation or bypass purchase verification. These restrictions do not override rights expressly granted by applicable law or by the separate licenses of third-party materials.
Purchases and restoration
Some app features require a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. The price and included features are shown in the app before purchase. Payments and refund requests are handled through Apple under its applicable terms. Restore purchases using the Apple Account associated with the original purchase. Access may be revoked if a transaction is refunded or revoked. A purchase does not guarantee support for all future devices or operating systems.
Anatomy data and attribution
Anatomy data is adapted from BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science, under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. Adaptations include geometry simplification, coordinate conversion, packing, colors and display groupings. Those materials remain subject to their own license. App software and branding are not granted under that data license. See the app's attribution information for source details.
Availability and limitations
We aim to keep the app useful and accurate, but models and software may contain omissions or errors. Features and compatibility may change with updates. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy and changes to these terms
Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. We may update these terms as the app changes; the latest version and date will appear on this page. Changes do not remove rights already granted to you under mandatory law.
